"Mismatched with care in Vermont"

These "mismatched" but coordinated socks are made by Marianne Wakerlin (The Socklady), founder and owner of Solmate Socks. She "found it exhilarating, designing a pair of socks that didn't match and were knit in random patterns with multiple colors." After making severasl pairs for friends and family, Marianne decided to turn her hobby into a business. KARS Unlimited is pleased to be the exclusive distributor of Solmate Socks in this area.

SolMate Socks occasionally changes designs. We try to keep our inventory current, however, discontinued patterns are often available (until sold out). Please inquire for availbility.

"Crafted with care in the USA from recycled cotton."

Our cotton socks are knit in the USA from recycled cotton yarns that are custom made for these particular socks. The yarns are created by recovering the scraps from the production of other cotton products, mainly T-shirts. All of the little cotton scraps are gathered together and ground up so that they can be spun into yarns for Solmate^TM Socks. The yarns are then knit into our colorful socks.

The yarns are 80% cotton with 19% Nylon and 1% Lycra added for durability and stretch.

Our recycled yarns are certified by Made in Green (www.madeingreen.com) and Oeko-Tex (www.oekotex.com). This means that the materials we use are certified to be free from harmful substances (i.e., toxins like formaldehyde), made with respect for the environment and with respect for human rights.

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS

• Solmate recommends machine wash, 'gentle' and tumble dry 'cool'
  (KARS Unlimited suggests allowing for minimal shrinkage if drying on 'warm') - consider sizing up (as we do!)
• All socks are colorfast (will not run)

ORDERING INFORMATION

• Orders can be placed via phone, fax, e-mail or snail mail. For your security, include vital information in separate communications.
• All orders must be accompanied by full payment.
• We accept cash, money orders/cashier's checks, paypal, personal checks, wire transfers and most major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express). Payment by cash is at your own risk. Checks must clear the bank prior to shipment, please allow up to 3 weeks for personal checks. Payment by cashier's check, money order, wire transfer, paypal or credit card allows us to ship right away (usually within 72 hours of receipt).
• Postage and Handling.

  Orders are shipped via USPS 1st Class.
  US orders less than $50, please add $4; US orders over $50, please add $6.
  Special shipping (e.g., Priority,Overnight, FedEx, UPS, Insurance) is available, at cost, if requested.

• Florida residents please add 7% Florida Sales Tax.
• Make checks payable to: KARS Unlimited. All orders should include your name, address and phone number (or e-mail address).
• We will refund your money if we are sold out. Otherwise, all sales are final.
• KARS Unlimited never sells or shares customer informatiion.
